How Little Binder works, and what to expect at launch.

Little Binder is still preparing for launch. These answers describe how the product works today and the limits that still apply. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach us via the contact page.

What does Little Binder keep?

A family can keep a child's creation together with a short voice note, editable title, date, creator attribution, album, and family space. When a title is left blank, Little Binder can use up to the first 80 characters of the transcript. A family can also choose No title. The voice can exist even when there is no written transcript.

Who can see a creation?

Creations stay private. Family members can see their family archive. A recipient your family has already approved can see only the creations you send to them. New invitations, public links, reactions, and replies are not available in this release. Support can see creation content only with logged, time-limited permission from a family administrator. Paying for a gift never grants access.

Is Little Binder a social network?

No. There is no public feed, public profile, ranking, or pressure to collect reactions. The first store release is a private archive inside one adult-managed family account.

Does Little Binder measure a child's development?

No. The gallery can help a family notice how a child's drawings and stories change over time, but Little Binder does not assign stages, scores, diagnoses, or comparisons. Every child grows in their own way and on their own timeline.

Can a child save a comic, storybook, or other multipart creation?

Yes. Choose everyone who made it at the start, then capture each part. After each capture, add another part or go to editing and details. Names and voice notes are optional and come afterward. The first part is the gallery cover. Nothing plays automatically.

What are custom spaces?

They are private, family-named places such as Cards, Recipes, Certificates, Rockets, or Favorite jokes. A child can suggest a name and picture; a parent or guardian approves it. The family can move creations into a space, rename it, change its picture, or delete the space without deleting the creations.

How do printing and keepsakes work?

You can print for free today. A grown-up can print one creation or a 2, 4, 6, or 9-creation collage at home at no extra cost. The page is built on the device, and can be printed directly or shared as a PDF or high-resolution image. On top of that, we are planning optional professional prints, cards, and small keepsake books as purchases separate from the family subscription. Before ordering opens, we will publish the products, prices, print partner, shipping regions, returns, and the exact data sent for fulfillment.

Does Offline mode turn off the internet?

No. It pauses Little Binder's own server requests and keeps a parent-selected set of recent creations ready on the device. A parent controls the device connection. To disconnect the whole device, turn off Wi-Fi and cellular access and consider iOS Guided Access or Android app pinning.

What happens to a new creation made without a connection?

The creation and voice are protected on the device first. After a grown-up ends Offline mode and connectivity is available, Little Binder can synchronize them to the family record.

Can I print a saved creation for free?

Yes. A grown-up can print one creation or a 2, 4, 6, or 9-creation collage at home at no extra cost. The page is made on the device and can be printed directly or shared as a PDF or high-resolution image. Printer paper and ink are the family's responsibility.

Will grandparents need to manage the family?

No. The parent or guardian manages the family archive. A grandparent with existing approved access can open the creations sent to them and choose notifications. A grandparent can also give an annual subscription without receiving access to creations. New invitations and voice replies are not available in this release.

Can a grandparent give the family plan as a gift?

Yes. A purchaser can give an annual subscription and share its private claim code with the parent or guardian. Paying never lets the purchaser see creations. Existing recipient access is separate from billing; new family invitations are not available in this release.

What will it cost?

There are no ads in Little Binder. The app is supported by subscribers. Planned launch pricing is $71.88 USD yearly or $7.49 USD monthly, subject to final store configuration. The exact localized price, taxes, billing period, renewal, and cancellation terms appear in the App Store or Google Play before you confirm.

Are there any ads?

No. There are no ads in Little Binder, and we never sell a family's data to advertisers. The app is supported by our subscribers, so a child's time in Little Binder belongs to the family, not to marketers.

Can I download it now?

Not yet. App Store and Google Play listing links are placeholders until the launch builds and store pages are ready.

How do I request deletion?

You can permanently delete the account and associated family data in the app under Settings and Family data controls. If you no longer have the app, use the public account deletion page. Download your family ZIP first if you want a copy.

Saving creations

In Settings, open Saving creations and choose Wi-Fi and mobile data or Wi-Fi only. Mobile data is allowed by default. Waiting creations continue when an allowed connection is available and your device gives Little Binder time to run. You can also choose Try sending now while the app is open.

If sending stops, Little Binder keeps the original on this device and resumes from the last piece the server confirmed. Open the app to let waiting creations continue. AI can stay off.

Your device decides when Little Binder can work in the background. Open the app to let waiting creations continue.

AI assistance

AI is optional and starts off. When you turn it on, available tools can suggest titles, transcribe speech, and help crop and straighten flat creations. Selected images, recordings, or text are processed on Little Binder's servers. Speech recognition may also run on your device. AI can make mistakes, so check each result. Image edits keep the original.

Turn off all AI for this family to stop new AI requests and queued work, including transcription. Other devices refresh this choice when they connect. Work already sent may have begun processing; unfinished results are discarded. Saved creations, recordings, and previously accepted results stay available. Manual editing and ordinary saving still work.

We do not send family content to third-party AI services or use it to train AI models. Temporary AI inputs are removed after processing. Results you save remain with the creation until you remove them or delete the creation.

Auto-crop and straighten

With AI assistance on, Edit and add details after a single capture checks the page edges. For a multi-part creation, capture the parts first, then open a part to edit it and choose Auto-crop and straighten. Review every suggested crop before keeping it. These tools use a smaller working image while keeping your full-size original. Manual controls are always available. Availability depends on your app version.

Image tools and title ideas stop waiting after 30 seconds. Choose Edit manually or Skip the magic at any time to continue without waiting.

Notifications

Notifications are for grown-ups. You choose promotional push and in-app ideas separately, and can turn either off at any time. Account and service messages are classified separately and may still be sent by email or appear by push or in the app, where that channel is supported and permitted, when reasonably needed for billing, security, suspension, deletion, stored content, legal requirements or providing the service. Device settings still control push. Child mode shows no banners or permission requests.

Sharing alerts open creations already shared with your Little Binder account. You can send to recipients your family has already approved. New invitations, reactions, and replies are not available in this release. A notification never grants access to a creation.
