Little Binder Terms of Service

These terms govern an adult's use of Little Binder, a private family archive for children's creations and voices. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Who may use Little Binder

An adult who is at least 18 and legally able to agree to these terms may create and manage a family account. You must be a parent, guardian, or otherwise authorized to add a child's information. Children do not create Little Binder accounts or agree to these terms.

The service

Little Binder lets families save and organize creations, images, voice notes, albums, and spaces in a private archive. You can send individual creations to recipients your family has already approved. There are no public profiles or public creation links. New invitations, reactions, and replies are not available in this release. Synchronization and other server features need an internet connection.

Offline mode

Offline mode pauses Little Binder's own server requests and uses protected data available on the device. It does not disable the device's connection, control other applications, or replace device-level parental controls. Changes made without a connection may synchronize after an adult ends Offline mode.

Your family content

You keep your rights in the content you add. You give Little Binder a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, protect, synchronize, and deliver that content only as needed to provide the features you request, maintain security, create backups, and support export or deletion. You confirm that you have authority to add the content and choose how it is used within your family account.

Account security and appropriate use

Keep adult credentials private and tell us if you believe the account is no longer secure. Do not use Little Binder for unlawful content, harassment, impersonation, general-purpose file storage, automated bulk activity, attempts to access another family, or interference with the service. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect a family, the service, or comply with law.

Purchases

Little Binder offers auto-renewing Family subscriptions and annual gift subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play. Your store shows the exact localized price, billing period, renewal terms, taxes, and applicable store terms before you confirm. You manage or cancel a subscription through that store, and refunds follow its rules. A gift funds the recipient's subscription after they redeem its one-time code. Buying a gift does not let the purchaser see the recipient family's account or creations.

Download, deletion, and ending use

An adult can download the family archive as a ZIP file and permanently delete the account and associated family data from Settings. The same deletion is available at littlebinder.com/delete-account.html if the app is unavailable. Download first if you want a copy. We may end a service feature with reasonable notice when practical and will follow the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion.

Availability and responsibility

We work to keep Little Binder available and secure, but no online or device service is uninterrupted or risk-free. Keep copies of family content that you cannot replace. To the extent permitted by law, Little Binder is provided as available, without implied warranties, and Little Binder LLC is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that applicable consumer law does not allow us to limit.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the effective date and provide appropriate notice before a material change applies. If law requires new consent, we will ask for it.

Questions

Questions about these terms can be sent to support@littlebinder.com or through the contact page. Privacy requests can be sent to privacy@littlebinder.com.

AI assistance

AI is optional and starts off. When you turn it on, available tools can suggest titles, transcribe speech, and help crop and straighten flat creations. Selected images, recordings, or text are processed on Little Binder's servers. Speech recognition may also run on your device. AI can make mistakes, so check each result. Image edits keep the original.

Turn off all AI for this family to stop new AI requests and queued work, including transcription. Other devices refresh this choice when they connect. Work already sent may have begun processing; unfinished results are discarded. Saved creations, recordings, and previously accepted results stay available. Manual editing and ordinary saving still work.

We do not send family content to third-party AI services or use it to train AI models. Temporary AI inputs are removed after processing. Results you save remain with the creation until you remove them or delete the creation.

Notifications and account messages

Notifications are for grown-ups. You choose promotional push and in-app ideas separately, and can turn either off at any time. Account and service messages are classified separately and may still be sent by email or appear by push or in the app, where that channel is supported and permitted, when reasonably needed for billing, security, suspension, deletion, stored content, legal requirements or providing the service. Device settings still control push. Child mode shows no banners or permission requests.

Sharing alerts open creations already shared with your Little Binder account. You can send to recipients your family has already approved. New invitations, reactions, and replies are not available in this release. A notification never grants access to a creation.

If you enable push, we store a device notification token, installation identifier, language and notification choices. Expo, Apple and Google process the token and short message for delivery. Lock-screen messages avoid child names, creation titles, images, recordings, payment details and other sensitive information. We record delivery state and limited interaction events for reliability and progress, without advertising trackers. Marketing opt-outs stop new marketing delivery. They do not necessarily stop permitted messages needed to administer your account or provide a service you requested. Device permission and channel settings still control push. If you voluntarily add country, region or postal code for relevant messages, we use that adult-provided data for the purposes explained there. We do not request device location or use child-derived data for campaign targeting.
