Find and add a voice note to a creation
Some creations were saved without a voice note, and it is never too late to add one. This guide shows how to pull up only the creations that still need one, and how to add the child's voice to each.
Find creations without a voice note
1. Open the Gallery
Open Little Binder and go to the Gallery tab. Tap Filter and sort to open the filters.
2. Choose No voice note
At the top of the filters, tap No voice note, next to With a voice note. Both controls have matching sizes and microphone pictures on phones and tablets. Tap the X above them to close the filters. Tap a selected filter again to clear it.
Inside a space, tap Filters to show No voice note when a creation there has no recording. The same choice appears in an album and Shared creations when something there has no voice note. If everything already has one, the choice is not shown.
Add the voice note
3. Open the creation
Tap a creation to open it. For a creation with more than one part, open the part you want to describe first.
4. Tap Add a voice note
Tap Add a voice note, then the microphone, and tell us about it. A grown-up can add one to any creation, and a child can add one to a creation they made. There is no time limit and no need to be perfect.
5. Listen, then add it
Listen back if you like, try again if you want, then tap Add to this creation. The voice note is kept with the creation, and it leaves the No voice note list right away. If the connection drops, the recording is kept and finishes saving when it is back.
Adding more later
To add another, choose Record an additional voice note. Each new recording is kept with the earlier ones, up to five per creation or part, and the newest plays first. If AI assistance is on, Little Binder can also make a transcript that a grown-up can edit or remove.
Work through them in a row. After each one is saved, it drops out of the filtered list, so the next one is right there.
Ask a question. "What did you make?" or "Who is in this one?" gets a better story than "Say something."
Nothing is lost if you stop. Creations without a voice note are saved just as they are, and you can come back any time.
